Las Vegas is just absolutely unreal!!!  The magnitude of it all will amaze you.  In the middle of the desert you will find the biggest hotels, the finest restaurants, upscale-to-the-max shopping, and the best entertainment.  The city is open 24-7!  You can travel to Egypt, New York City, Paris,  Rome, Venice, and more all in one day!  Sounds tiring?  Then just take a break to relax by the pool.  Chances are that you will feel as if you were on a lush tropical island!  It is all there.    With so much to do and see, it's no wonder that there are so many Las Vegas sites on the internet.

Rick Golpe from the Vegas Yahoo Group had a great reply to a Vegas Newbie's question about what to do on her first time to this gambling mecca ...

So you're heading off to Vegas and you're not sure what to do?
See a show, take a walk and drop a coin or two?

You did the right thing when you sought this group's assist.
You know they'll set you straight as they help you make a list

Stop and see the dancing fountains within a man made lake.
Take a stroll through high-end shops. See that ring? Is it fake?

Admire the flaming volcano and watch the pirates fight.
Head down the strip to the big balloon that glows so blue at night.

Look! A pyramid and isn't that the Eiffel Tower?
This city constantly changes. Sometimes by the hour.

A brightly colored castle with drawbridge and a moat.
Don't eat too much at the big buffet or you will surely bloat.

See a show, sit in a lounge or watch the folks walk by.
Or hold the hand of the one you love at the Masquerade in the Sky.

Enjoy a drink at your favorite slot and watch the tumblers spin.
Look! Three 7s! I can't believe it. Will I finally win?

Throw a bet down on the table and play some 21.
Or bet the passline and take full odds. Craps is plenty fun.

The wheel turns at the roulette table; the ball drops in a slot.
7 Red. That's what you bet! You're finally getting hot.

Stroll the Strip or hop a cab and take in all the lights.
Ride the coasters; eat some shrimp and just stay out all night.

Head downtown to Fremont Street and watch the overhead wonder.
Stop in a sporstbook, pick a game and bet the over/under.

Would you like to swim or jog or sit in a tub and rest?
Go to a spa. You'll be surprised. This city has the best.

Get all decked out a hit the clubs like Ra or Drais or Rain.
Then head back to your hotel room and start to plan again.

For tomorrow in Las Vegas will be different from today
Cuz' the city has the most to offer in an awsome way

This group can tell you where to go and what to see and do
But the bottom line is, you're going to have fun, it's really up to you.

Thanks Rick!
