I usually find some of the best deals on flights at airlines' own sites. Most of them will let you sign up for an internet newsletter that will keep you informed of special sales and reduced rates for booking directly with them online. Warning!!! Checking around like this does take up a good bit of time. If that is a problem for you, then head back to the travel search page, and let one of the many companies do the work for you. Also, if you do find the "perfect" deal, don't wait too long to book it. Many of the best deals that I've found have been gone when I went back to book.
